Join the NIU School of Music brass faculty for an exciting day of playing, learning, and performing alongside the NIU brass community! Throughout the day, you will participate in a group warm-up, instrument-specific masterclass, and mass brass ensemble rehearsal; connect with NIU faculty and current students; and learn more about the many opportunities available to brass musicians at NIU. The day culminates in a special shared recital featuring NIU brass faculty, current students, and Brass Day participants—including a performance by the mass brass ensemble. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. in the School of Music Concert Hall Lobby, with activities beginning at 10 a.m.

If you cancel five or more business days before the event, you may request a refund from Kristin Sherman at ksherman2@niu.edu or 815-753-1450. No refunds will be made after this time unless NIU cancels the event.
